North Island Optimist champs a great success

The Optimist North Island Championships held over the weekend of 15 and 16 November were a resounding success. The racing on the water was tight and and the entertainment on the shore was entertaining!

Congratulations to Flora Stevens (Glendowie) and Blake Duncan (Napier) for taking out the Optimist Open Fleet Girls and Boys titles respectively, and to Frankie Barker (Napier) and Oscar Hemrosillow (Tauranga) for taking out the Optimist White Fleet Girls and Boys titles respectively.
