Starling nationals test sailors in a range of conditions

Worser Bay Boating Club was proud to host the 2026 Starling National championship over four days in the term one school holidays. Eighty-nine sailors from 20 clubs

competed in 10 to 11 races across a range of conditions from reasonably fresh northerlies to nearly drifting southerlies.


Congratulations to Nate Soper (1st overall and 1st male) and Charlotte Handley (3rd overall all and 1st female) for taking out the national titles, and to Georgia Baker for winning the development fleet title.
