About the Event
WBBC offers ‘Start Sailing’ courses for those with limited or no sailing experience. The courses are professionally run by Yachting New Zealand qualified coaches.
The clubs two person Sunburst dinghies are used.
‘Start Sailing’ courses for adults cost $250.
You will need a wetsuit, wet shoes/booties and a jacket for the course.
This course includes five introductory sessions. You can arrange further tuition, directly with our coaches, if you feel you need more support after the course is finished.
Once you have done your course you can join the club which will give you access to the club Sunbursts at a cost of $25 per hire.
