About the Event
The 2026 New Zealand Wingfoiling National Championships will be held for the first time in Wellington — and for the first time at Worser Bay Boating Club, as the club celebrates its 100th year.
This milestone makes a fitting backdrop for the future of the sport, showcasing the new generation of foiling sailors in one of New Zealand’s most iconic sailing venues. Competitors can look forward to three days of fast-paced racing and world-class wingfoiling action in Wellington’s famous winds.
Hosted by Worser Bay Boating Club, this premier national event will bring together New Zealand’s top wingfoilers alongside international competitors to battle it out for national titles across multiple divisions. The racing area and schedule are designed to deliver dynamic,
technical, and tactical racing on the water, with a true stadium viewing experience and an incredible community atmosphere ashore.
