Join the exciting world of Wingfoiling at Worser Bay

Join the exciting world of Wingfoiling, one of the fastest-growing water sports today, at Worser Bay!

Wingfoiling, also known as WiFo or Winging is a thrilling new discipline making waves at Worser Bay Boating Club. Although it’s relatively new, the sport has seen rapid advancements in equipment, featuring lightweight, inflatable wings with handles and hydrofoils that lift you and your board above the water. This innovation makes it accessible for individuals of all shapes and sizes to experience the joy of flight.

With the right conditions, learning to Wingfoil is not only easy but incredibly fun and

adventurous. The community around this sport is welcoming and supportive, making it

perfect for everyone, from complete beginners with no prior water sports experience to

seasoned sailors, windsurfers, surfers, and kite-foilers. You’ll be hooked in no time!

While the learning curve is steep, many find they can master the basics in about 10 hours. Worser Bay offers ideal conditions to help you progress across a wide range of wind conditions.

Exciting developments are underway for wingfoiling at Worser Bay. Thanks to a generous donation from the Black Foils Sail GP team, in partnership with Armstrong Foils, we now have a set of six wingfoil boards and wings that we will use in a soon to be released 'Start Wingfoiling' programme. And we are also setting up regular Friday night and weekend Wingfoiling sessions. Watch this space!

In the meantime stay tuned, by joining the Club and our Worser Bay Wingfoil WhatsApp group to be part of this thrilling progression! And if you want to talk to someone directly about Wingfoiling at Worser Bay then drop a message for Matt Appleby or Wilbur Stanley on our contact page and they will come back you.

And for those of you already out there Wingfoiling, exciting details about a

Wingfoiling event at Worser Bay Boating Club from January 31 to February 2, 2025, are coming soon.
