We are delighted once again to invite everybody to the Worser Bay Beach Carnival. This is our annual community fundraising event for the Boat & Beach Wise Trust. This year the focus is on raising funds to update the equipment used in the start sailing, schools and youth programmes at Worser Bay.
Kicking off at 10 am there are games galore, live music and plenty of food for everyone. Kids can have a go at sailing, go for a ride in a rescue boat and hop on a keelboat for a sail in the bay. There will be a simulated sea rescue and a bunch of local heores will take on each other in the annual Hebtro Trophy Celebrity Race. Worser Bay Boating Club will be open and you will be able to see a display of the efforts of local schools and the Boat & Beach Wise trust to establish a NZL Blue Belt site to help restore the marine ecosystems at Worser Bay.
