About the Event
Opti Squad is run every Saturday morning during, starting at 9.00am and running through to 12.00am. Opti Squad uses the ‘Sailing Fast’ syllabus which is the second level in the Yachting New Zealand Start Sailing pathway. Young people who graduate from Opti Squad are awarded a ‘Sailing Fast’ certificate. This Squad uses club plastic but Sailors are encouraged to buy their own boat. Ideally you are in this program for two terms but is sailor dependent.
Please note that you need to have joined the club to participate in Opti Squad. There is no charge for Opti Squad coaching.
