Venue coordinator

Our lovely Sarah is leaving us, so we are looking for a new Venue Coordinator. It's a paid, part position and the role is outlined below.

Role description


Situated in beautiful Worser Bay, The Worser Bay Boat Club (WBBC) is looking for a self-motivated Venue Co-ordinator to join the club in a part-time role to help manage its Corporate Venue Hire.


WBBC offers an amazing location and facility that is flooded with natural light, and has a smart-casual atmosphere with breath-taking harbour views, creating a unique corporate venue suitable for executive functions, off-site meetings, informal conferences, and product launches, seminars, workshops or promotions. The venue can accommodate 120 seated at tables and 220 standing and can be configured into a range of different formats.


Working independently, you will manage customer enquiries and bookings including:

  • Answering any email / online queries;

  • Management of the booking schedule and diary;

  • Liaising with the outsourced local catering partner;

  • Working with and communicating with committee/club members;

  • Marketing the venue;

  • Setting up/packing down of each hire.

This role will suit someone with a flexible schedule who wants to work both online and at the club from time to time.
