The finals of the America's Cup will be in full swing during the early part of term four 2024 and we are celebrating by offering Wellington schools the opporuntiny to come sailing at Worser Bay.
Emirates Team New Zealand has put out a challenge to ākonga around Aoteaora New Zealand to design technologies to harness the power of the wind. Listen to Elise Beavis and our very own own Josh Junior as they explain what they'd like ākonga to do.
And Yachting New Zealand has an online resource called Kōkōkaha - Powered by Wind which is one of three modules in the RŪNĀ school and kura engagement programme. Kokōkaha includes 12 STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) learning experiences that can be delivered in the classroom alongside of the sailing experience at Worser Bay.
