Who runs the courses?

These courses are professionally run by qualified instructors in double handed sunburst dinghies. The courses are held at Worser Bay Boating Club, Marine Parade, Seatoun, Wellington.

Who is it for?

16 years and older.

When are these courses run?

See the schedule to the right. Currently one course is scheduled.  Starts Saturday 28th January from 9am to 1 pm and thereafter each Saturday morning dependent on weather.  Total of 27 hours of instruction  with flexibility to also include sunday mornings or afternoons dependent on attendees availability and also the weather.

Enrolment form

An enrolment form must be completed for each sailor wishing to join a learn to sail course.

Payment options

You can make payment by cheque, internet banking or by credit card. Details on payment options are set out in the Enrolment form.

What happens after I have done an senior learn to sail course?

At the end of your course, you can get lots of on the water sailing at the Saturday senior club racing sessions.
