Hire of Clubrooms

Our clubhouse is a wonderful asset intended for the benefit of all members. The Committee will consider written applications from active senior members for private use of the clubrooms. Any such application should be made to the Rear Commodore (see Committee and Office Holders section for contact details) six to eight weeks prior to the event. This is to allow for consideration at a committee meeting. Applications will be considered on a case by case basis.

The member concerned will be responsible for conduct at the function, inspecting the club beforehand and returning it to its previous state after the event. Liquor cannot be sold and you must be considerate of the club’s neighbours. Fire Service requirements need to be complied with, including nominating someone at the function as Fire Warden. Further details on the use of the clubrooms will be made available at the time an agreement is reached.

The fee for use of the clubhouse is $250.00 (inclusive of GST) for each day or part thereof. All members hiring the club will also be required to pay a $500 bond, refundable after the event in accordance with the hire agreement.
