We offer sailors at all levels the ability to learn and develop a passion for sailing that will see them enjoying this sport throughout their life. The club programme includes a variety of events during the sailing season designed to improve skills, provide competitive racing and encourage friendships, regardless of age and ability. Some will go on to follow a competitive course, while many others will be content to enjoy the social environment of yacht club life and sailing in all its forms.
Parent participation at all levels of the programme is essential.
If you have any questions relating to junior sailing you can contact Jonathon Bacon 027 441 5148, Youth and Junior Rep Clyde Bennett 021 224 2700. Also contact Bridget Leppien on 021 032 6929 firstname.lastname@example.org to get on the e-mail list for the Junior News Letters.
The junior and youth classes at Worser Bay are Optimist, P Class, Starling and Laser 4.7.
The classes at Worser Bay for the older person are Sunburst, Laser, Skiffs, 420, OK and Finn and for the very old the Zephyr class. Although the latter will strongly disagree and suggest age has nothing to do with it.
